Longest Weekend Ever!

My weekend surprisingly started on Thursday. It was Natah's birthday and we went to the Korean Restaurant because that's where she wanted to go. We, being me, Natah and Maria. Pachie was supposed to come too, but her cousin was getting married during the weekend so she had to help prepare for the wedding and oversee stuff so she had no time. Anyway, we went and ordered Goon Mandu, Pork Bulgogi (I love their Pork Bulgogi! If anyone ever goes to a korean restaurant, you MUST order the Bulgogi!!!!) and Ja Jang Myeon because I hadn't tried it. We ate most of the food, but the Jang Ja Myeong had to be packed away for leftovers. It was good.

Afterwards, we went to Natah's house and sat around. She mixed up vodka with Fruit Punch for us and a separate vodka and Powerade concoction for herself. We tried it and it wasn't too bad. I hadn't had any alcoholic drinks since Maria's birthday party (and that was a LONG time ago!) and so I felt a little woozy, but I was ok. Maria drove me home afterwards and I was locked out of the house for a good three to five minutes before my brother finally came out of the bathroom and let me in. I went to sleep right away.

The next day, I went back in to work at Heller and worked till 5. It was long and boring and I messed around on the net most of the time because work was getting to me. Everyone had gone home around 5, leaving me to an empty office for the next couple hours. My mother was supposed to come pick me up, but she left me and went home saying that she would come back later to pick me up because my family were going to see my uncle and aunt's new baby that she just had on thursday. My sister kept calling me back and said that my mother was thinking of leaving me at the U. LEAVING ME!!!??? I was going to be stuck at the U all weekend with noone? I was HUNGRY too!!!

Luckily, my friend Jamie called me and I told her my situation and she said she could come pick me up. She had a hard time finding me and got lost around the U, but finally, she came. Adora and Cooley came with her because they were going to go see Pirates 3 and Jamie was nice enough to buy me a ticket too. We went to Wendy's to eat, but it was too expensive so I forewent it and around 9, we went to the new AMC theater at Rosedale. It was sooooooooo huge and pretty! I like it there! (but REALLY expensive!!!!) There was already a line for 10:00 showing of Pirates 3, but then again, it was the official first day of Pirates 3 so what can I say?

The movie seemed more comedic this time around and a little weird. There were weird moments (Will was making love to Elizabeth's leg. What the hell...!?) and things seemed a little innapropriate for little kiddies (once again, same scene), but all in all, I liked it a lot! Especially the ending! It wasn't all mushy mushy and happily ever after ending which was good! I kind of wanted it to be that way, (this is one of the few movies that I've actually wanted to end happy!) but the ending made me happy either way! We stayed till after the credits and saw something that was happy. It was nice. VERY GOOD MOVIE AND GOOD WAY TO END PIRATES!!! GO WATCH IT!!!! (if you can anyway...)

Then Saturday and Sunday, Wang, La and I had to babysit our baby sister, Gigi, and bring her with us to the mall. We went to Maplewod Mall the first day, then to Rosedale on Sunday. I just wasted money instead of buying what I really needed. I wasted too much rather, so I'll have to charge on my credit card now, which sucks too. Darn! Anywho, Cindy came along both days and we hung out. Gigi was being really bratty, but Cindy seemed to think she was pretty funny.

We were supposed to go shopping at MOA on monday together again, but my parents reconsidered letting me drive to the cities and made my sisters and me help them do landscaping. I wasn't too happy and needless to say, I will never buy a house now, or at least, a house with lots of land because landscaping is a bitch to do!

That was my weekend. I was very sore from going out since Thursday and doing landscaping on Monday. I'm sore and tired, but oh well. Aside from things happening to me, like I stated earlier, my uncle and aunt had a baby. Another aunt of mine went to the hospital from working too hard or something and then there was a death too. My father's "uncle's" wife committed suicide and so they're readying for a funeral for her. Man, so much to happen in one weekend. I just hope there's less to happen before I go to Japan.

Btw, my sister just happened to turn on the TV last night and Miss Universe was on. Boring shit and I hate watching it, but two of the finalists on there was Japan and Korea. That was pretty cool. The winner was sort of unexpected, but all good in the same way. Japan won. Yay, go Japan! Ok, then I told them to turn it off and looked on youtube for Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children and Ouran Host Club parodies. My sibs and I also watched a little bit of Madtv on youtube with Bobby Lee in the parodies of Memoirs of a Geisha, Korean dramas, and Grey's Anatomy. Not bad stuff. We were laughing the whole night.

Anyways, that's it for now. I'm just waiting on my friend to call me cause we're supposed to go to MOA until I have to be back at 5. Okie dokie. Me go now. Ja!

First day of a random rambling blogger...

わあ!これはすごい!日本語の文を書かれている!すごい!

Anywho, back to eigo. Hmm... not bad for a blog. I've had three or so more before and they couldn't do japanese! I like this blog place already! 大好き!Hmm... I'm not really much of a blogger person, but since I'm going to Japan soon (hopefully my passport gets to me on time!) might as well have something to put up so that many people wouldn't have to ask me "what's up?" over and over again.

Blagh. I don't know what to write. Blah blah blah. lol

Donc, c'est tres bon n'est-ce pas? Ouais, c'est tres interessant!

Haha. That's about all I remember from French class from high school. Je parle un peu de francais! I miss it. It's been about four years since I last had french. I'm so tempted to buy a french book from the bookstore and bring it with me to Japan.

Hmm.. Which reminds me, do I have all my stuff to bring with me when I go to Japan? (I'm leaving on the 10th and won't be back till right before school starts! Agh! Jet-lag!) I think I have all my toiletries, two towels, a few books to bring with me (thinking about getting more), my Korean and Japanese textbooks, tiny japanese dictionary, my DS and the few games I have, my large, crappy, broken screen MP3 Player, money (mochiron!), Twister game, deck of cards (and maybe Uno?)...

Stuff to buy: NEED SUMMER CLOTHES!!! I'm too fat to fit into my summer clothes and winter was too long so I need clothes fit for the weather (hopefully I lose some weight over there... but then again, Osaka is famous for having good food so crap!!), rainjacket (I hate umbrellas), LOTS of CANDY, ALTOIDS AND GUM!!!! money (wait, I can't buy money!... or can I?... oh wait, I do, I need to buy Japanese money with my American money), more books to read over there, more DS games, first aid kit? (just in case), and more stuff that I can't remember.

All in all, I need to get more stuff. Ok, well, I really have to go to the loo so ta-ta! Yah, sure, you betcha! (^_~)
